The Family and Community Support team is in charge of maintaining communication with families and building our Support network. We provide updates on devices to families and coordinates any visits between families and case design teams. The Support team is here to meet the needs of any family in network, requesting a device or not.

Spring Family Event: Every year, the Support team is in charge of planning the Spring event for families. This event is the perfect place for HHP families to meet each other and connect. At the event, we have fun games planned for the kids and provide food. so that our families can have an amazing day.

Limb Loss Awareness Month: In honor of limb loss awareness month, the Support team plans to host a book reading of books relating to limb loss. We hope to raise awareness and educate the public on limb loss awareness and also show our HHP families representation in different media forms.

Overall Goals: The goal of the Family and Community Support Team is to aid all of the families that we work through organizing social events for families to meet with each other and providing communication between case teams and families on the status of their devices.
